Suite del Grifo

The Suite del Grifo is a welcoming two rooms independent apartment in the L'Aquila city center. The building is a newly-refurbished monument.

The Suite has direct access from one of the characteristic small alley of L'Aquila and it's located right next to the church of Santa Giusta, one of the oldest and most important of the city; where there are no guest, the apartment is used as painting studio by Patrizia, owner and local painter.

The Suite is extremely close to all the best cafes and restaurants of the city. Within 15 minutes walking you can reach all the most beautiful points of interest of L'Aquila, such as the abbey of Santa Maria of Collemaggio, the Spanish castle with its park and the Auditorium designed by the architect Renzo Piano. In 30 minutes you can also visit the monumental fountain of the 99 Cannelle.

The Suite is really close (500mt) from the bus terminal Lorenzo Natali, common stop for all the local and national public transportation (also for Rome and the Abruzzo coast).

There is also a second room with a desk and a couch so that you can work in case in your is not (only) a leisure travel.

The Suite is managed by Patrizia (the owner & painter), Tommaso (the son), Maurizio (the husband) and Mirò (the dog). For this reason, we love direct contact with our guests to offer the best staying experience.
