Mine was a love at first sight with this historical house, freshly restored after the 2009 earthquake; I immediately thought about a paining studio, my big passion. Clearly, there was some work to do, but this allowed me the chance to make it my own<\/strong>, according to my style and ideas, which is the goal of every architect like me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With passion and commitment, without any constraint, I carefully chose any piece of furniture to be unique, like the homemade kitchen from a North Italy woodworker, o the desk made out of my mum's old Singer sewing machine<\/strong> the shower with the botanical background. The light stairs brings you on the mezzanine: here, from the window, you can see the apse of one of the most ancient and important church of L'Aquila: Santa Giusta <\/strong>(unfortunately, it is still undergoing restoration after the 2009 earthquake, but we hope it will soon be back magnificent as it used to be for centuries).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that my paintings in the Suite will give you the same feelings that I had while I was painting them: botanical watercolours and portraits of famous people, also local ones - if you want to know more about the paintings, please check out my website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided to aim at having a \"green\" house, using only energy from renewable sources<\/strong>: everything is electricity based, from the heating to the kitchen and the kettle. While Italy is not as advanced on the environment as other European countries, we try to do our little part!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The access to the Suite is completely independent<\/strong> with access to the road. The central position will bring all the monuments and the best food places only few steps away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you've never been in L'Aquila<\/strong>, you can drop by the WELCOMEAQ in Via Cimino, 2 minutes away, for any touristic information on the city and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
